The Chair for Business Administration and Corporate Governance was established in August 2010 and is sponsored by four listed companies with headquarters in Mannheim: Bilfinger Berger, Fuchs Petrolub, MVV Energie, and Südzucker. 

The Chair for Business Administration and Corporate Governance conducts research in the area of corporate governance, corporate diversification strategies, alternative investments and various other topics in financial economics.
